Hey! I'm Alesha!
When the first episode of Avatar the Last Airbender came out, a roleplaying forum materialized in front of me and I fell in love with colaborative storytelling. I tried every form of storytelling I could think of: novels, comics, music, animation, and videogames. With all of them, I wanted to work with others to tell stories.
Sadly I put all that on hold when I went to college to get a computer science degree as my family cared more about me getting a well-paying a job over following my passion. After several years working as a software engineer, I took classes focusing on screenwriting for TV animation.
At some point I realized I was siloing myself as only a writer. There wasn't a reason why I couldn't also be an artist! And if I did, I could even bring my characters to life and share my stories visually! So that's why I quit my job and went back to school to learn animation after almost 10 years since graduating!
